Let’s start our adventure from Cinque Terre, known also as the magnificent villages of Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore, perched on the coast with their brightly colored houses that stand out on the rock wall and reflect their image in the crystal-clear waters of the Ligurian Sea.
A few kilometers away from here stands one of the most exclusive destinations in Italy and beyond... the elegant Portofino with its colorful houses that reflect themselves on the small bay and with its marina that welcomes the boats and yachts of the VIPs that every year they do not renounce to spend a few relaxing days here. After a stroll through the square, indulge in a shopping tour through the showcases of the most renowned boutiques.
And then again, the splendid Portovenere, the cities of Camogli, Rapallo, Levanto, Sestri Levante… seaside villages with ancient traditions and unique beauty.
The coast is dominated by the beautiful Genoa with its glorious past as a maritime Republic, which holds an extraordinary heritage: get lost in the narrow alleys of the historic center, the famous caruggi, and admire the Rolli, beautiful and luxurious Renaissance and Baroque palaces...
Camogli, Sestri Levante & Genova
Even west of Genoa there is no shortage of surprises: Finale Ligure, Albenga and the Riviera dei Fiori where the city of Sanremo stands out, famous throughout the world for the annual Italian Song Festival.
And once you have traveled the coast, explore the hinterland to discover the other side of Liguria, a succession of breathtaking landscapes and glimpses of the Ligurian Sea. Take the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri, an itinerary that stretches for 440 km throughout the region, from Ventimiglia to Ceparana, on the border with Tuscany, to get in touch with the luxuriant nature of the Ligurian Alps.
With its picturesque views and its numerous wonders, Liguria will win your heart!
